Sport Place:
An International Journal of Sports Geography

---

Due to a lack of  suitable paper submissions, Sport Place: An International Journal of Sports Geography will cease formal publication with Volume 10, Number 2, which will be dated Fall/Winter 2000 and has been shipped to all subscribers as of the Summer of 2002.  We regret this decision, but given the current circumstances, it seems that no other course of action is appropriate at this time.  We wish to thank the authors, subscribers, and readers of Sport Place for their support in the past, and we hope a suitable venue for publication of material on Sport Geography can be developed in the future.  This site will remain in place, and a complete listing of v10n2 will be added when the printed journal is returned from the printer for mailing.  Subscribers will receive a letter regarding their subscription status with v10n2.  Thank you again for your support of Sport Place, and we hope to hear from you in the future.
